WARRANTY POLICY

Most products are warrantied to be free of workmanship, mechanical, and material defects for 0 days to three years (see below) from date of purchase depending on the product. Within this warranty period, American Scientific Solutions LLC will replace or repair components that fail due to manufacturer defect(s). For such repairs or parts, shipping charges will be covered in full or in part by American Scientific Solutions LLC.

This warranty does not cover any failures due to alteration, repairs, misuse, accident, or abuse. This product warranty policy also does not cover wear items such as glassware, heating elements, thermocouples, oil seal sets, gaskets, switches, and sensors. The warranty also does not cover wrongful input voltage. The customer needs to be responsible in monitoring power rating and routine checking. If using water in a heater or chiller, the customer must only use distilled water. Other forms of water will void the warranty.

 ANY product that is used in HIGH DUST, HIGH HEAT, and/or HIGH HUMIDITY locations. Will NOT be covered under warranty. The units ARE NOT designed to be used in an environment other than a CLEAN LABORATORY. Any unit that has failed due to neglect and abuse will not be allowed to be returned.

Fittings and steel do NOT carry any warranty. Fittings and steel items with a defect or other issue must be identified within 30 days of arrival and American Scientific MUST be contacted. After 30 days, there will be no replacements sent for fittings or steel items with a defect or issue. Cross threading, misuse, improper storage, or improper care of fittings/steel are considered user error and are not covered under warranty. 

Glassware does NOT carry any warranty. Glassware items with a defect or other issue must be identified within 3 days of arrival and American Scientific Solutions LLC MUST be contacted. After 3 days, there will be no replacements sent for glassware items with a defect or issue.

Such repairs or parts will be covered in full by American Scientific Solutions LLC and the customer will be responsible for shipping, labor, and custom duties.

3 Days, Defects and Delivery:

All Glass Products (including replacement parts) / Products Containing Glass (e.x. Fused Sight Glass), and Filter Paper.

3 Days, Defects Only:

All Stainless Steel, Valves, Sanitary Fittings, Sanitary Gaskets, Sight Glasses, Pressure Relief Valves, Fittings, Vacuum Filters, Rack Mounting Systems, Replacement Parts (non-glass), Lab Tools, and Benchtop Lab Supplies (e.x. Magnets, Stands, Clamps, Stoppers, etc.). 

Products manufactured by other companies are covered by their respective policies. (noted in the "Warranty Information" tab.):

Chillers (UC,CLC), Heaters (RH,CRH), Heater/Chillers (HC,UHC), Mixers (MM-3TC,OS-,MX-S), Centrifuges (XTC), Rotary Evaporators (RE,USA-UL), Reactors (JR,JRE,USA-SR), Vacuum Ovens (VO), Vacuum Pumps (VPD), Thermometers (THERMO-PRO,USA-TM), Freezers (F-), Heating Mantles (HM,MANTLE), Hotplate Stirrers, Mechanical Stirrer, Heat Guns, Digital Balance Scales, Ultrasonic Cleaners (USA-ULTRA), Wiped Film (WF), Mechanical Cold Traps (USA-CT). 

Vacuum Pumps (UVP), Vacuum Ovens (USA-VO). Scientific Freeze Dryers (SFD).

Indemnity

American Scientific Solutions LLC products are intended for legal and legitimate purposes in laboratory and industrial settings only. American Scientific Solutions LLC shall in no event be held liable for, and purchaser agrees to indemnify American Scientific Solutions LLC against, all claims related to special, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and any other damages arising out of or related to the sale, use, misuse or inability to use the products, including costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. Nothing in purchaser’s business forms or documents, whether a purchase order or confirmation or any other document, shall add to, remove or otherwise change in any way the scope of American Scientific’s warranty, damages, and indemnification terms above.

Consent to Jurisdiction

All transactions shall be deemed to have been made and entered into in Wyoming. Any and all disputes arising directly or indirectly from such transactions shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming, to the exclusion of any other court, and any resulting judgment may be enforced by any court having jurisdiction of such action. All transactions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, excluding any choice of law provisions which may result in application of the law of another jurisdiction. The prevailing party shall be entitled to an award of reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

Warranty Period

If the warranty is used during the term as described above and a replacement unit has been issued. The warranty period is not extended. The replacement unit carries the remaining term of the warranty. The warranty begins on the date of delivery of the item.
